Do not go broke on gems trying to blast through VIP levels, you’ll definitely want a healthy amount to supplement any progress else-where in the game. VIP levels give insane benefits and are difficult to progress through if not spending real money. When it comes to gem use for F2P players I recommend saving up as much as you can and purchasing VIP levels when you are close to crossing over to the next one. You can now prioritize purchasing and dismantling immortal pieces for John Henry or Boudica depending on which one you’d rather keep for Soul Crystals. Once you decide to actually invest into an earth team you will not need 3 Earth Shieldman.

You also have John Henry and Boudica shards sitting around. My strategy: Let us say for example you receive Charles the Great from a Philosopher Stone opening and you are not currently investing into an Earth troop. I recommend breaking down all green and blue immortal shards you receive (excluding Lancelot and Tomoe if you are using them). The only way they can currently be acquired is from the dock and from breaking down immortal pieces in the Alchemy Lab. They are needed to purchase immortal pieces from the market and acquire abilities from the Tower of Knowledge. Soul Crystals seem to be the resource bottle neck. The two resources I would say to budget and use wisely are your Gems and Soul Crystals. This feeding starts to plateau, and you’ll wish you budgeted out those time speed ups a little better.Įven on my P2W account I am noticing I am hurting for gold and soul crystals. The game encourages you to spend an endless number of resources the first 7 days because it feeds you non-stop. Like all RTS/ RPG/ Kingdom Builder games, resource gathering, and budgeting is very important.

This will not only give you one more building to progress on through-out the day, but an initial purchase will give you access to the Merlin immortal who has synergies with Helen of Troy. If you plan on being completely f2p I at least encourage you buy the third build slot which is (4.99USD I believe).

This game is extremely free to play friendly and I am in no way encouraging you drop your life savings on a mobile game. Reason being is spreading resources over multiple immortals and troops will limit the power of your main troop and hinder your ability to push progression in arena and the well campaign. The game hands you a very good water troop at the start and if you are planning to not spend, I would highly recommend sticking with water for a long time. Most important thing as far as game progression will be your initial troop.

The game does a great job at leading you through the initial growth of your territory and build selection is relatively dummy proof for the first 7 days.

I imagine the one the game recommends you pick is the least populated kingdom on the server. Ideally in the long run you would want to be a part of the more successful kingdom, but that is up in the air on a new server. Your kingdom choice (red, blue, green) on a new server (Less than 3 days old) is not as important as you'd assume. I plan to add to this thread as I progress, and I welcome any criticism or edits where you see fit. I am by no means an expert or all-knowing, but I feel like I am in a good position to lend a helping hand to new players. I have a P2W (pay to win) account on S23 (SlipperySnek) and F2P (free to play) accounts on S24 and S25. I want to see this game and subreddit grow over the coming months and would love to do my part with helping the incoming community.
